In 2014 Trialogue partnered with research company Ask Africa to review eighteen development projects for the Eskom Foundation. The purpose of the review was to assess the impact of the funding provided by the foundation, to analyse how projects were performing and to identify elements that could be improved. Research comprised of a desk-top review of project information, site visits by project analysts and structured beneficiary research. Trialogue’s review framework, structured in line with logic model thinking, was used to determine a performance gap by project and research dimension. All projects were positioned on Trialogue’s strategic CSI positioning matrix to enable the decisions regarding repositioning of projects in terms of developmental and business impact derived.
