Mercedes-Benz South Africa (MBSA) engaged Trialogue’s services to help the company re-evaluate its CSI strategy and to strengthen its monitoring and evaluation (M&E) practices with two of its flagship projects.
We first engaged with leaders throughout the business to gauge the level of awareness, alignment, successes and gaps in MBSA’s current CSI strategy. Once equipped with a sound understanding of the company’s CSI, we mapped its current projects on our CSI positioning matrix and facilitated a CSI strategy workshop.
Following the workshop, Trialogue drafted MBSA’s revised CSI strategy as well as the actions required to make the changes identified in the strategy. We also engaged with two of MBSA’s key partners to strengthen and formalise their approach to capturing and reporting performance data. In separate workshops, we discussed the level of detail, frequency and responsibility for reporting performance data. We then created reporting templates reflecting the agreed M&E approach.
