Trialogue CSI forum on supporting local government in the midst of a global pandemic

The auditor-general’s most recent audit of municipalities revealed a severe lack of due diligence in project planning, improper financial management and a significant decline in service delivery. The causes are varied, but can mainly be traced back to lack of accountability, poor governance and capacity challenges. Trialogue’s next webinar looks at how the private sector can help to strengthen municipal capacity. Panellists include a representative from Kagiso Trust, which was supporting the Makana Municipality in the Eastern Cape well before Covid-19, and is continuing to do so.

Join us for a fascinating panel discussion on how best to support municipalities and what municipal resilience might look like in a post-Covid world.
