The IDC has partnered with Langa Bicycle Hub, an organisation situated in the Cape Town township of Langa. Langa Bicycle Hub strives to make bicycles the main mode of transport on the narrow roads of Langa. They aim to work with the government to build cycling lands and create cycling-friendly public spaces to get more people on bicycles. They believe that cycling can improve mobility and bring economic, ecological and even therapeutic benefits.
