
Bongani Kennedy Makhaya is a community builder, professional nurse, and the deputy chairperson of the South African National AIDS Council’s (SANAC) Gauteng Men’s Sector. He is the founding and executive director of Isizinda Sempilo Organization. A human rights activist, master trainer, mentor and public speaker with vast experience in public health, community development and project management, he believes in the power of collaborating with different stakeholders, jointly sharing skills, resources and expertise for the implementation of impactful prevention and community-endorsed social behavioural change programmes.
