Lunga Schoeman currently serves as the Corporate Social Investment (CSI) Programmes Lead at the Development Bank of Southern Africa, working at the intersection of development finance, social investment and systems change. With over a decade of experience across corporate, philanthropic and nonprofit environments, he has led CSI, stakeholder relations and sustainability portfolios at several listed companies, including Sanlam and the Shoprite Group. His work has also contributed to national policy and systems change, including advocacy for zero-rated mobile data for public benefit organisations and support to government on NPO sector funding policy development. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management and is currently pursuing an MBA.
