Dr Mzamani Mdaka is the Deputy National Education Programme Manager in the NECT responsible for Integrated District Improvement Programme, which focuses on strengthening the education system through conceptualisation, design, and implementation of initiatives in collaboration with teacher unions, provinces, and Department of Basic Education. He has worked as a mathematics teacher, Departmental Head and school principal in Limpopo and a Project Manager in the private sector.
Dr Mdaka is an educationist who holds a PhD – Curriculum Studies (UJ); Master of Education, specialising in Mathematics (Wits); Postgraduate Diploma in Management (Wits); Bachelor of Education in Mathematics (Wits); Further Diploma in Education specialising in Mathematics (Wits) and Senior Primary Teachers Diploma (Lemana College).
