Dr Taddy Blecher is CEO and co-founder of the Maharishi Invincibility Institute, a multi-award-winning educational institution, as well as Imvula Empowerment Fund and the Invincible Group. He co-founded the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship with Sir Richard Branson. Dr Blecher is Chairperson of the Advisory Council for Entrepreneurship and Employment in Schools for the Department of Basic Education. This initiative will embed employment and entrepreneurship-relevant skills for every child in the South African school system by 2030, and is currently piloting with 250 000 students. As a direct result of his work, more than 19 070 South Africans have been educated post-secondary school and have found employment. These youth (70% of whom are women) now have combined salaries of more than R1.4 billion per annum and expected lifetime earnings of approximately R41 billion. Blecher has raised over R800 million in cash, property and equity to support free access to education for historically disadvantaged South African youth.
