Dumisile Nala is the CEO of Childline. She joined the organisation in 2008. From 2015 to 2016 she was the Africa region’s representative for Child Helpline International and currently serves on the advisory board of Child Helpline International. During the early years of her career, she worked for Childline KwaZulu-Natal before moving to the United Kingdom where she worked and lived for almost a decade. During this period, Dumisile gained extensive knowledge in child protection, child mental health, foster care, and adoption. She is a member of the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect. She has served on the Yezingane Network Executive Committee, which is the SANAC Children’s Sector.
