Gcobani Zonke is the deputy president of Ubuntu Pathways, a nonprofit organisation based in Zwide, Gqeberha. He has over two decades of experience in community development and education. Gcobani has been central to Ubuntu’s growth and the development of its cradle-to-career model—driven by evidence, impact and deep community engagement. He plays a key role in Ubuntu’s monitoring, evaluation and learning culture, ensuring programming remains strategic, locally relevant, and data-informed. Gcobani has also led partnerships with Fortune 100 companies and government stakeholders, and sits on the board of Ubuntu Primary School in Gqeberha. He holds several degrees from local and international institutions, including Vista University, the University of Port Elizabeth, the Gordon Institute of Business Science and Leeds University.
