Holle Wlokas is a trained social scientist with vast experience in multistakeholder projects and processes, and a strong focus over the past seven years on social performance related issues in the renewable energy sector. Holle was educated in Germany. She was trained in South Africa, and practices locally and internationally. She earned a Doctor of Philosophy and a postgraduate degree in Political Science. Her PhD research investigated the implementation of community benefit in South Africa’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme. Before her PhD studies, Holle worked for the Energy Research Centre at the University of Cape Town.
