Loffie Brandt matriculated at Grey College and studied Agricultural Economics at the University of Stellenbosch. After graduating, Loffie worked in commodity trading, where he sourced grain directly from farmers. He later moved into selling grain commodities to the processors, millers and ultimate end users. Loffie’s banking career started in 2007 when he was appointed by Absa as an Agri Specialist. In 2010, he took up the role of Manager: Agricultural Information and in 2013 he was promoted to his current position as Head: Sales Enablement – AgriBusiness. Loffie holds an MSc in Agriculture from the University of the Free State and is a graduate of the GIBS Global Executive Development Programme.
