Professor Anastacia Mamabolo is an associate professor specialising in entrepreneurship and research design at the University of Pretoria’s Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). Her research around the role of faith and human capital in management and entrepreneurial activities within the African entrepreneurial ecosystem has attracted the attention of scholars and practitioners who use it to measure the effect of entrepreneur skills training. In 2023, she was a recipient of the South African Women in Science Awards (SAWiSA), receiving the Distinguished Woman Researchers in Humanities and Social Sciences award. Beyond her academic successes, she takes an interest in youth development programmes and school outreach.
