rohan sarma is a social scientist with more than a decade’s worth of demonstrated dexterity in participatory research and development planning with vulnerable communities as well as strategic management consulting with business leaders in India. He leads and mentors the research, knowledge management and strategy teams at Samhita. His areas of interest include business and society, stakeholder capitalism and social theory and he has published and presented on corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development. His latest initiative – the Visual, Aural and Sociological (VAS) Project – aims to co-create open access, autonomous and public infrastructures of thinking, learning and knowledge. He has provided policy inputs to responsible business/CSR frameworks, designed comprehensive assessment frameworks for non-profits, trained human development professionals and advocated support for neglected thematics and geographies.
