Dr Manthiba Phalane is a director in the Civilian Secretariat for Police Service (CSPS), overseeing the Partnerships unit with a focus on fostering Public-Private Partnerships for inclusive crime prevention initiatives. Her role involves research and analysis, stakeholder engagement, policy development, and collaborative planning and budgeting. She holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Limpopo. Her research centred on gender and economic development, particularly in empowering victims and protecting vulnerable groups from Gender-based violence and femicide.
