Moky Makura is the executive director of Africa No Filter, an advocacy organisation dedicated to reshaping Africa perceptions. Moky has worked as a TV anchor, actor, producer, author and publisher. She authored Africa's Greatest Entrepreneurs, created mass-market fiction series Nollybooks and was the African anchor for the news show Carte Blanche. She previously served as the African head of communications at the Gates Foundation and led communications at the Tony Elumelu Foundation. She speaks globally about narrative, the creative industries, media, development and the power of storytelling to influence perception, investment and policy across Africa.
