Lorenzo Davids is CEO of The Development Impact Fund and The Justice Fund and is a Director at the AfriGo Capital Group (www.afrigocapital.com). Prior to this, he spent eight years serving as CEO of Community Chest South Africa. In his current role, he serves as a consultant to local and international funders on investment decisions. He serves on numerous boards in various countries and has received awards in recognition of his civil society work. In January 2022, he was listed by the UK-based Thinkers50.com as one of the 30 global thinkers to watch for his writings on justice, inclusivity and public engagement. He currently also serves on the board of FEMEF and the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation and is researching issues related to justice and philanthropy for academic purposes.
