Thandeka Nkambule is the Chief Transformation Officer at Sanlam, where she leads the Group’s socio-economic transformation and inclusive growth agenda, with a strong emphasis on measurable impact and long-term sustainability. She is a board member of the 104+ SMME Growth and Empowerment Solutions, a market access and capacity building programme that supports small and medium enterprises with financial backing, market access and business development support. Thandeka also leads Sanlam-YES Youth4Business, a youth-focused enterprise development initiative that equips young entrepreneurs with skills development, mentorship, and access to markets. Her portfolio includes the Sanlam–SANParks Rural SMME Programme, which strengthens community-based enterprises in and around national parks, driving rural economic development, conservation-linked tourism and inclusive livelihoods.
