M&E Framework and dashboard development
Date of work: 2025

“Trialogue provided such fantastic hands-on support – they guided and thoroughly supported my team as well as our implementing partners. The team brought expertise I didn’t have but presented it in a way that I could engage with and contribute to the project. The theory of change has brought more intention to our strategy.”
-Preeya Naidu, Tiger Brands Enterprise Development Senior Manager
Tiger Brands is one of the largest food producers on the African continent and the largest in South Africa. As such, the company works towards achieving greater food security where it operates, while building inclusive economies. The company views food security in South Africa as an essential social priority and its socioeconomic development (SED) strategy focuses on building resilient, food-secure, healthy communities across South Africa.
In April 2025, Tiger Brands appointed Trialogue to strengthen the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of its SED programme. Trialogue undertook the following activities as part of the project:
- Reviewed and revised the SED theory of change
- Developed an M&E framework and plan encompassing 24 projects
- Created supporting tools and templates to support the M&E plan
- Requested data from implementing partners, checked for completeness, followed up, analysed and drafted high level outcomes and insights
- Created a PowerBI monitoring dashboard
